What Are Our Wedding Plans?
As for the details: June 1st, 2009 (it’s a Monday evening) on Coronado Island facing the San Diego skyline. We thought that time of day would work well for photography and having the skyline as a back drop would be really cool.
We will be having a dinner reception up the street at a local restaurant, Adams Avenue Grill. It is a great place that we eat at all the time (about $20 a plate). More photo ops if you desire.
As for the planning part of life lately. Most of it has been pretty lax. We aren’t doing anything big. Here is it in a nutshell. Everyone shows up to Coronado. We walk out to a grassy knoll (no decorations or seating). We exchange vows. Take some pictures. Then off to dinner (which is a few miles away). Eat. More pictures. Then head home. Cut the cake and maybe toast. No decorations, no hassle. Simple, sweet and inexpensive. Our costs are: photography (fingers crossed that Paula can make it), cake, dinner, her dress, shirt and tie for me, and maybe some champagne.
That’s it. The dinner will most likely be the most expensive thing (we are figuring about $1,500).
I think that covers it. LOL
