Unintended Irony at the Tate Modern

June7

Yesterday afternoon, Heidi and I decided to check out the Tate Modern museum after we were unable to get tickets to see Romeo & Juliet at Shakespeare’s Theatre.

I would definitely suggest checking out the Tate if you are in the area. It’s is a free museum with lots to see if you enjoy modern art.

A pic below shows the “unitended irony” the receptionist mentioned when we asked about the exhibits on display, Futurism, coming soon! That made me chuckle.

Afterwards we trekked across the Millenium Bridge. It is a newer suspension bridge that was very cool to see and walk across. We arrived across the Thames and looked for a place for dinner.

We came upon a Pizza Express. It was a place that Heidi’s boss’ daughter had suggested. It was a great place, the food was very tasty and service was quick as well. I would check it out as well too if you have the opportunity. The cost of food was reasonable as well.
