Pickwick Hotel

February13

We stayed at the Pickwick Hotel in Union Station area in downtown San Francisco.

It’s a decent, older, but somewhat modernized hotel. I was surprised to see little signs talking about having the option of not getting your towels and/or bedding replaced by housekeeping to help the environment. Kudos, I wish we saw more hotels support this model.

The thing that I was very disappointed about though was that they have little bottles of Fiji water in the room for purchase. Fiji is terrible water because of what they stand for and how it as a company hurts the environment in Fiji.

We are now having breakfast at a cool little diner across the street from the hotel called Mo’z Cafe. Great food!

i think the sheets/towel thing is a crock, and the hotel’s motivation ISNT the environment. Having the FIJI water only assists this theory of mine
